Slang That Moves

This Capetonian has been belting out verses from as early an age as 12. Unfortunately, he was engrossed in Cape Town night life and got side-tracked: he started using drugs and living a life of self destruction. At age 16, ready to give up and not having anything to look forward to, Taktic met up with an old smoking buddy and this led to him finding not only himself, but his religious roots as well as his old passion for the hip hop culture.

Taktic has performed alongside many artists – both known and underground – such as The Finkelsteins, Rattex “The Township Tornado” as well as Hardcore Deliverance. He believes that his talent as a rapper should be used to spread the truths of both God as well as life, and that a prominent platform such as hip hop should be used to give fans something to hold on to. In Taktic’s words: “Rocking the crowd is almost as fun as moving the crowd.”

Check out TakticOne Theme Song. This track is from TakticOne’s album ProBono 2k8”. What a great track!
