Bio

Wysdiman is ‘n 4-tal Afrikaanse Rock groep van Johannesburg wat sedert 2005 die verhoë in en om Johannesburg en Pretoria aan die brand speel.

2007 het hulle EP Dagman Nagman die lug gesien en verskeie snitte is op RSG (Tempo en Deon Maas) asook op The Barney Simon Show in sy Radio 2000 dae gehoor.

2008 het Wysdiman die "live circuit" behoorlik aangevat en die jaar afgesluit met 50 vertonings onder die belt. Die verhoë is gedeel met onder andere, Albert Frost, Riku Latti, Die Kaalkop Waarheid, Liesl Graham, NuL en Thys Nywerheid. Ander hoogtepunte was die insluiting op Postbox 2008 (‘n jaarlikse kuns en kultuur tydskrif) asook ‘n vertoning by die opening partytjie daarvan.Wysdiman is ook genooi om te speel by die 1ste Camel Fest buite Pretoria. Boonop het Wysdiman ook die voorreg gehad om saam met Lucky Fonz III vanaf Nederland en The Mojomatics vanaf Italie te speel.

Daar is tussen in ook tyd ingeruim om ‘n nuwe single genaamd Bly by my uit te bring. Die snit is gespeellys op UJFM gedurende Desember 2008 en het ook UJFM se Afrikaans Top 10 gehaal Die single en ouer material was ook gehoor op ‘n eksklusiewe in diepte onderhoud met Bruce en Piet op Radio Platorand.

Met BruceBleed as ‘n energieke frontman, PoisonPiet met sy unieke klank op kitaar, Dewald van der Wel op ‘n besige bass en Earl Devereux-Quicke op vinnige dromme doen Wysdiman rock ‘n roll in die taal wat nie tans daarbuite gehoor word nie.

Wysdiman is a 4-piece Afrikaans Rock group from Johannesburg which has been burning up the stages around Johannesburg and Pretoria since 2005.

In 2007 their EP Dagman Nagman was released and various tracks were played on RSG (Tempo en Deon Maas) as well as The Barney Simon Show in his Radio 2000 days.

2008 saw Wysdiman taking on the live circuit and finished the year with 50 gigs behind them. The stages were shared, with amongst others, Albert Frost, Riku Latti, Die Kaalkop Waarheid, Liesl Graham, NuL en Thys Nywerheid. Other highlights were the inclusion in Postbox 2008, an annual arts and cultural magazine, as well as a performing slot at the launch party. Wysdiman were also invited to perform at the very first Camel Fest outside Pretoria. Furthermore Wysdiman had the privilege to perform alongside Lucky Fonz III from the Netherlands and The Mojomatics from Italy.

In between all the gigs time were also made to record a new single called Bly by my. The single were playlisted on UJFM during December 2008 and also made it onto the UJFM Afrikaans Top 10. Bly by my and other older material were also heard on an in depth interview with Bruce and Piet on Radio Platorand.

With BruceBleed as the energetic frontman, PoisonPiet with his unique sound on guitar, Dewald van der Wel on a busy bass and Earl Devereux-Quicke on thumping drums, Wysdiman does rock ‘n roll in Afrikaans which is unheard of at this point in time.
