Bio

Born and bred in the good old Cape Town in the dusty streets of Nyanga location. Birthed by a mother and father who has the natural gift of music gained from the rich days of their childhood. My parents were musicians by nature, music ran in their veins and in big ceremonial occasions the music flair in them would show itself when the neighborhood chants and songs were sung, they would be the highlight of the occasion. I guess that is where I inherited the rich musical flair as well. Though they never had the chance and opportunity to go to school and make something of their gift, when I was born in the family of 2 bigger sisters than me, our parents made sure that we become something that they never had the chance to. They made sure that we went to school and got proper education. As we grew, it is not an un-natural thing to see the children growing a love for something else than that which ran in their parents vein: music. Even though my 2 elder sister never pursued music as a career or hobby but they still go crazy when they hear a particular song they like, they would dance and sweat. My younger brother is a DJ which shows he also inherited something from out folks. Anyway, as I grew my love for music grew too. In the post 1990 something was in one of the Cape's know and back then hot local kwaito act Maxque consisted of myself,Bulumko,Martin and Linda. Because times change and people grow, the group came to an end and each went their separate ways. I am currently working on my debut album entitled: "Ntabezikude" (Far away mountain) under the label Coded Records. This album is a musical love journey that is really hard to pin it down to one genre as it has elements of reggae, rnb, hiphop,house,traditional,afro-pop which makes it an alblum that caters for almost all music genres. I have uploaded some of the tracks from my album for you to feast your soul and your ears.
