Neon Tetra is an alternative rock band from Pretoria. Controversial? Maybe... Fresh & Exciting? Definitely... Zef? You better believe it, baby!

Deon Roos - Backing Vocals & Guitar
Pierre Duvenhage - Backing Vocals & Bass
Jean Duvenhage - Backing Vocals & Drums
Neon Tetra started as a 3-piece early 2008. The band felt there was a need for an extra member and after months of searching they found Deon. Deon proved an asset to the band from a very early stage as he makes a great cup of coffee (and oh yes, his guitar playing skills is not to bad either!)
After this the name Neon Tetra spread like wild fire through the industry as the new kid on the block and soon everybody was asking the same thing: "Where did these guys come from?" But the question is not where they are coming from, the question is: "Where are these guys going?"
All the venues that the band plays at, request them for follow-up performances. The reason for this would be the energetic performances and good solid rock music.
Step into their world and become part of the Tetra generation.
