Bio

Dirtyfunk is a local South African funk group, fresh on the scene, residing in Cape Town.
The group consits of Dale Johnson, Clemi Clems, Rudi Abrahams and Mark Samuels.
All members are talented in the arts ranging from music production, performing and dancing. Together
they create a very unique style of music, fusing funk with sophisticated Hip Hop and Dance aimed at Good Girls and
Smart Guys.

In 2008 Dirtyfunk worked with the very talented music producer, Gabi Le Roux (producer for Mandoza,
Danny K and HHP, just to name a few) on the remix for "that's what I will do" by Litsa.
They were also hired by YO.TV's very own Dj Switch to produce a intro for his t.v show

Dirtyfunk has appeared on TV, radio, newspapers and online magazines and have already performed
at some of Cape Town's leading hotspots, ranging from Stones to The Community Chest Carnival.

Now they're working with Josie Field on a Remix for her hit single "Laws of Attraction"
They're also featuring Kia Johnson from Kfm, Suburban menace, Randall Jermaine and
(12 Year old) Joe Meister on their album Good Girls and Liquor launched April 22nd 2009.

The Launch party was a major success which included performances from:

- Chad Saaiman (Sama Nominee 2009 seeing stars number 1 on goodhope fm charts)
- Shaz and Brandon (Presenters on Bush radio's breakfast show)
- Dirtyfunk band Cape Town's hottest new act
